Hello! I'm Lisa Mase', culinary medicine educator. I am here to support you on your wellness journey.

If  you’re exhausted, unhappy with your weight, suffering from a chronic condition, or needing to change your eating habits, food as medicine is for you.

After a decade of healing from chronic parasites, anxiety and depression, an eating disorder, and food allergies, I took my health into my hands with food as medicine. I have never been better. 

I create food-based healing programs for you to find a balanced weight, feel energized and nourishedrest well, and practice cooking simple, seasonal meals that are attuned to your body type and health goals.

You will also learn how to use food to heal common dis-eases, from the cold and flu to indigestion and constipation.

I am certified in Sustainable Food Systems through the University of Vermont and continue attending courses on Mindful EatingMind-Body Healing and Culinary Medicine. I am a member of Food Tank and Slow Food.

I work with those who need support in healing from chronic conditions such as parasites, Crohn's Disease, Celiac Disease, Colitis, IBS, and auto-immune disorders. I work with FODMAPS, SCD, GAPS, Paleo, Gluten-free, and other dietary protocols.

I help busy families and those who want to learn more about whole, local, seasonal eating to achieve their goals.

I draw from the wisdom traditions of European Herbalism, Ayurveda, Macrobiotics, Mindful Eating, and Chinese Five Element Theory to offer a comprehensive, universal view of food as medicine. I stay attuned to nutrition and diet trends to better support you and answer questions.      

After ten years of chronic illness, I was able to take charge of my own well-being with food as medicine.
